i feel some obligation to speak about this as an anti embargo organizer but right now rep maria salazar of florida is trying to codify cuba as a state sponsor of terrorism. this would make ending the embargo on cuba without a color revolution nearly impossible. the embargo is not only against the will of the cuban people AND was voted against by every country in the un (minus usa/israel, with ukraine abstaining) but is, in writing, intended to get the cuban people to overthrow their government and welcome the usa’s imperialism and exploitation back into their country. if you are usamerican, please contact your state rep and ask them not to vote in favor. if not, please help call attention to the harm of the embargo and myths surrounding it perpetuated by reactionary politicians.
